Ferndale Police Department Promotes O'Loughlin
After head of the detective bureau retires, veteran officer takes over.

FERNDALE, MI – Police Lt. Casey O'Loughlin has taken command of the Ferndale Police Department's detective bureau, announced the department. The 23-year veteran of the Ferndale Police Department is taking the slot after Lt. Bill Wilson retired late last year.
O’Loughlin is a a graduate of the University of Michigan, the Eastern Michigan University School of Police Staff and Command, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy – and a graduate of Brother Rice High School.
O’Loughlin has spent the bulk of his career moving up through the ranks while assigned to the patrol division with a 3-year assignment to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration as a task force agent.
