Ferndale police told the Macomb Daily the man broke into Detroit Fleat (1820 E. The next morning at 7:30 a.m. he stole another bottle of liquor and grabbed the cash drawer again, but it was empty.”
Winward is suspected in a strong of burglaries that occurred in Hazel Park and Warren last fall, according to Brown. Winward has seven previous convictions for breaking and entering, according to the Michigan Department of Corrections. Winward faces a preliminary exam Feb. 1 in Ferndale District Court.
