Otus Supply Welcomes Rootstand Saturday Night

If you haven't checked out Otus Supply, Saturday's performance by Rootstand is a great excuse.

Saturday, March 3, Rootstand will take the stage at Ferndale’s Otus Supply. The band brings its guitar and banjo sound to the new it spot in town with an SRO show at 8 p.m. The band has played together for over a decade, and, they say “has set course from the uplands and urban jungles of Michigan to seek their fortune on the seas and sounds of the roots of America and beyond.”

While you’re there, be sure to check out the food and a wide-ranging and comprehensive drinks menu. The dining options are truly unique in the area, from a sour pancake with “kraut, chive, pickled onion, spicy hollandaise’ for $8, to Indianbrook Trout |with tempura yukon potato, pickled mustard seed, and cabbage béchamel for $26, the selections are varied, sophisticated and deeply intriguing.

Tickets for Rootstand are $12 ($10 in advance online). The show starts at 8 p.m. in the Parliament Room at Otus Supply, 345 E 9 Mile Rd, Ferndale.
