Super Bowl Parties: Where to Watch In Royal Oak And Detroit

Area Venues Have Fun, Festive and Even Weird Ways To Help You Observe America's Favorite Excuse To Eat Chicken Wings And Watch TV.

Sunday, Feb. 4 means just one thing in these United States: It’s the Super Bowl, predicted as a win by the Philadelphia Eagles by Fiona the Hippo (if not a lot of other analysts) as they go toe-to-toe with perennial favorites and defending champs the New England Patriots. While many will observe this secular holiday at home - or at the home of the friend or family member with the biggest TV and the best food - there are plenty of options for people who’d rather leave the cooking, cleaning and cable bill to professionals. Not all Super Bowl parties center on wings and beer - in Detroit, we also watch the game while having a massage at Centre Park or smoking a blunt with the good people of Movado Social Club (people with medical marijuana cards can, anyway). Check out our list of the weirdest, wildest and best places in the Metro D to see the game - with a host of Royal Oak options if you prefer staying closer to home.
