“If ever there was a ‘normal’ ten-year-old boy, that boy is Kaleb,” says his worker.

“He loves to be outdoors: playing basketball, climbing trees – and he absolutely loves to run! He wants to sign up for his first 5k race.”

His worker adds, “Kaleb is fun-loving, and he enjoys learning new things. He is also such a kind, gentle and thoughtful boy. His favorite toys are his Marvel Avenger characters, and he enjoys sharing them when hanging out with his friends.”
Creates gifts from nature
Kaleb also enjoys all kinds of crafts.
“He collects wood and other objects from outside – whatever he can get his hands on,” his worker says, “and he makes things. He’s very creative! He painted tiles, too, and gave them as gifts to a couple of our staff.”
Kaleb has dreams of saving the world like his favorite Marvel heroes and, in his own world, he helps out wherever he can.
“When I’m an adult,” Kaleb states, “I want to be someone who saves people.”
A life-long learner
“I’m a person who likes to learn,” he says. “I love math and puzzles, trivia – and ‘knock-knock’ jokes! I like to build things and learn new things. A ‘forever family’ would mean having someone to teach me new things that I don’t already know, and to have parents that love and care about me.”
“Kaleb is going to need a two-parent family,” his worker said, “and if there are other children, he would need to be the youngest.”
“He continues to make substantial progress in all areas of growth,” adds his worker, “and we are all very pleased.”
“My wish,” Kaleb says, “is to have a loving family. The day I’m most proud of will be the day that I’m adopted.”
