Grand Rapids’s 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled

Grand Rapids's traditional Fourth of July events are typically hosted by Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Grand Rapids. The fireworks show presented by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort have been canceled.

"Each year it is our honor to host the 4th of July celebration in Downtown Grand Rapids," the casino said on its events page. "It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Grand Rapids Fireworks celebration."
