GRPS Schedules Virtual Graduations for Class of 2020
Due to the uncertain circumstances of COVID-19, Grand Rapids Public Schools will be honoring graduates during virtual graduation ceremonies, which will take place on June 3, 4, and 5. Graduations can be streamed on the Grand Rapids Public Schools YouTube Channel at youtube.com/GRPSMyChoice, cable channel 27-902, and the district and high school Facebook pages.
“High school graduation is an important milestone in our students’ lives. Although nothing will ever compare to in-person graduation ceremonies, virtual ceremonies will give us the opportunity to highlight your accomplishments until we can celebrate in-person with all of our families and friends in attendance,” said Interim Superintendent Ronald Gorman. Grand Rapids Public Schools will plan a celebration for the class of 2020 for a later date.
