Kent ISD: Kent ISD Secures Aviation Grant To Benefit Multiple Michigan Programs

Kent ISD, in coordination with West Michigan Aviation Academy, along with many education and business partners across the state, has been awarded a $130,000 grant from the Michigan Office of Career and Technical Education. This grant will be used to further develop Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses in Aviation and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (drones) and align each course to industry credentials and local labor market needs. This grant was secured in partnership with Allegan Area Educational Service Agency, Charlevoix-Emmet ISD, Traverse Bay Area ISD and Wexford-Missaukee ISD.
