ACT Scores Come Back With Average Results

Last spring, high school juniors from all over Macomb County took the ACT exam, the last of what once was the standard assessment test for high school students, and the results came back with a composite score of 19.7 — a fraction below the state average of 19.9.

According to a report in the Macomb Daily, the ACT covers English, math, reading, science and writing.

“We consider that certainly close to the state average,” Judith Pritchett, chief academic officer for the Macomb Intermediate School District. told the Macomb Daily. “… Countywide, a majority of our kids showed an increase (over previous years).”
