Allstate Foundation earns $5,000 grant for CARE of SE Michigan

Grant to support nonprofit's work to improve the quality of life for individuals struggling with substance abuse and behavioral issues

Five Allstate agency owners and financial specialists from the metro-Detroit area recently came together to secure a $5,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit CARE of Southeastern Michigan. The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s mission to bring people together to support individuals suffering from addiction through recovery celebration, prevention and education.

The agency owners and financial specialists each earned $1,000 for CARE of Southeastern Michigan by volunteering and participating during the 5th Annual Ride 4 Recovery held at Lake St. Clair Metropark. CARE of Southeastern Michigan will use the $5,000 grant to further its work in the community.

The participating Allstate volunteers are among thousands of agency owners and financial specialists around the country working to strengthen communities by volunteering their time to support the causes they care about most.
