Friends of Macomb Offers Six Scholarships For Area High Schoolers

Friends of Macomb Township will offer six scholarships to graduating seniors residing in the township.

The Friends of Macomb Township will offer six scholarships to high school seniors who live in the township, according to the Macomb Daily. Foundation President R.J. Koss said the $1000 grants can be used by graduating seniors at college, vocational school or other post-high school educational institution for the 2018-19 school year.

Eligibility requirements for the award include being a resident of Macomb Township and a graduating senior, a minimum GPA of 3.0 and to be attending college or another post-high school educational program in the fall. To apply, students must complete an application and submit two letters of recommendation and an essay.

The application deadline is March 14.
