Happy Father’s Day To George Dreske

"You taught us the importance of having integrity, being trustworthy and respecting others."

In celebration of Father's Day on Sunday June 17, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their father and let us deliver it. This is Kelly, Sarah and Crystal's letter to their dad:

Dad,

We would not be the strong, independent women we are today if it wasn’t for your constant guidance, support and encouragement through the years. You were both loving and nurturing, but also the disciplinarian who taught each of us right from wrong.

You always had a keen ability to problem-solve and were the handyman of our household. You taught us the importance of having integrity, being trustworthy and respecting others. You raised us in a loving home built upon tremendous morals and values. You were always willing to lend a helping hand, and we can’t put into words how many times you “saved the day.” Although you worked many hours while we were growing up, you never missed a softball game, dance recital or track meet. Today, you still attend the games and events of your grandchildren.

We truly appreciate everything you have done and continue to do for our family. You are the glue that keeps everyone and everything together. Most importantly, thank you for taking such great care of Mom. We love you!

Happy Father’s Day!

Love always,
Kelly, Sarah and Crystal
