Macomb County Man Charged In Child Sexually Abusive Material Case
A Macomb County man has been charged with possessing child sexually abusive material and using computers to commit a crime, officials said.

MACOMB TWP., MI — A Macomb Area Computer Enforcement (MACE) investigation led to the arrest of a Macomb County man who officials have since charged with two felonies, county authorities said Wednesday.
Michael Snay, 42, of Macomb Township, was arraigned Wednesday in 41-A District Court in Shelby Township on one count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office said.
Snay's bail was set at $10,000, officials said. He is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 23 for a probable cause conference.

The investigation began with a tip from the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children unit earlier this month, county officials said. A search by detectives discovered videos of child sexually abusive material of girls between 3-12 years old and videos of bestiality, authorities said.
Officials said additional information led them to Snay, who they arrested Tuesday upon serving a search warrant at his home on Chatham Drive. Deputies said several items were seized from Snay's home, including laptops, electronic storage devices, pornographic magazines and child erotic stories.
