MACOMB TOWNSHIP HALL WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC (EXCEPT VOTERS) ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2020.Many voters visit Township Hall on Election Day, in order to register to vote or to turn in their ballots. Currently, we are taking temperatures and having visitors fill out health forms in order to keep our offices safe for everyone. Governor Whitmer signed an executive order stating that we cannot require voters to be scanned by any method. That means any voters who come in that day will not be required to wear masks nor pass any other screening. For the safety of our visitors and staff, we will be closing all offices located in Township Hall, other than the Clerk’s office, on Tuesday, August 4th. And the Clerk’s office will only be open for voting matters. The Water & Sewer building will be open, and the Fire Stations. The Recreation building be closed except for the voting precincts located there. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience but safety is our first priority. Now, make it worthwhile and get out there and VOTE! The polls will be open from 7am until 8pm.Stay safe and healthy!Janet Dunn, Supervisor
