Man Dies In 'Tragic Accident' At Macomb County Business: Police
A 42-year-old man died Tuesday morning in what Macomb County authorities are calling a "tragic accident" at Romeo Rim Inc.
MACOMB COUNTY, MI — A 42-year-old man died Tuesday morning in what Macomb County authorities are calling a "tragic accident" at Romeo Rim Inc, a molding supplier in Bruce Township.
According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, deputies and members of the Bruce Township Fire Department were called to Romeo Rim Inc. just before 10 a.m. Tuesday following reports that a man had been injured by a piece of equipment.
Deputies said that when they arrived they found David Spano dead. Spano, an employee at the molding company, died after a 25,000-pound manufacturing mold had fallen from one of the interior plant walls, hitting him, deputies said.

"At this time, this indecent appears to be a tragic accident," deputies said in a news release.
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been contacted.
