Would-be purse snatcher is eventually stopped thanks to bystanders and the woman's family.

A pregnant Flint woman made a would-be mugger wish he had picked a different purse to snatch last week.
The woman was loading groceries into her car on Flint’s east side the afternoon of Thursday, Sept. 11, when Mark Newton, 30, allegedly took and ran off with her purse, MLive/Flint Journal reports.

Instead of simply calling 911, the woman began chasing Newton, who pushed her to the ground when she stopped him, the report stated. Two passers-by then confronted Newton and took back the woman’s purse before Newton fled, the report stated.
But the man couldn’t escape from the pregnant woman’s family’s wrath. The family members and Newton scuffled, but he was eventually subdued until the police arrived, the report added.
