Almost Perfect Beach Weekend Ahead in New Baltimore-Chesterfield Area
Some public beaches are closed, but the weather should be almost perfect for another great summer day in Michigan.

There is a slight chance of showers in the forecast, but rain shouldn’t interfere too much with weekend beach plans, according to the National Weather Service.
Look for mostly sunny skies and a high Saturday around 83, with a west-northwest wind 6 to 14 mph, gusting to 22. Rain chances are 20 percent, after 2 p.m.
It will be mostly clear overnight, with a low around 62.

On Sunday, there’s a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9 a.m., but otherwise mostly sunny with a high near 85 and breezy with a southeast wind 9 to 14 mph, increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. Wind could gust up to 30 mph.
Choose your beach carefully. Nine Michigan beaches have advisories, including Lake St. Clair - St. Clair Shores Memorial Park Beach (closed) Lake St. Clair - H.C.M.A. - Lake St. Clair Metro Park Beach (closed), Kelly Lake - Kelly Lake (closed), Byram Lake - Clover Beach (closed) Eagle Lake - Eagle Lake Road (closed).
