Anchor Bay Public Schools Declare Snow Day Today

Last night, Anchor Bay public schools announced that classes would be canceled today due to the deep snow and freezing temperatures that hit the region yesterday. With temperatures in the 20s and dropping to the low teens in the evenings, much of the state remains in the grip of freezing winter weather and deep accumulations of snow from yesterday’s storms.

The district announced last night that school was canceled for today, Thursday Dec 14: “All schools are closed Thursday December 14th due to inclement weather.”

With temperatures warming slightly, and no heavy snow in the forecast for the next few days, it seems likely that school will resume tomorrow. Any further delays or cancelations will be announced by the district on the Anchor Bay Public Schools website, in addition to being relayed to dozens of local media outlets.
