Baker College’s Port Huron campus to celebrate graduates June 10

The student speaker is Port Huron resident Timothy Daniels who will be speaking on the effect people have on each other and on the world.

Baker College’s Port Huron campus will honor more than 100 graduates at the 2017 commencement ceremony, 10 a.m., Saturday, June 10, at Port Huron Northern High School, 1799 Krafft Road, Port Huron.

“It is with great honor that we present the 2017 class of Baker College of Port Huron graduates,” said Dan Kenny, Baker College of Port Huron director of admissions. “We’re proud that they chose Baker College to prepare them to fulfill their goals as so many others have done since the college was founded in 1911.”

Addressing the graduating class will be Timothy Daniels, of Port Huron, who will earn a Bachelor of Business Administration. He will be speaking on the effect people have on each other and on the world.

An outstanding graduate will be recognized from each of the following programs:

  • Health science.
  • Business administration.
  • Human services/criminal justice/education and early childhood education.

Students graduating from Baker College’s Culinary Institute of Michigan at Port Huron were also honored at a medallion ceremony in advance of the June 10 commencement.
