Suspect and 25-year-old male charged in Mount Clemens street robbery

A 25-year-old Clinton Township man, and his 20-year-old female accomplice, a Chesterfield Township resident, were arraigned on armed robbery charges Wednesday after they allegedly stole $12 from a person in Mount Clemens.
According to a report in the Macomb Daily, the pair, David Alan Surkovich and Alissa Marie Guilbault approached a 31-year old Clinton Township man near Main Street and Cass Avenue in Mount Clemens early Wednesday morning.
Guilbault asked the man for money, which he refused.
The two approached the man again at a bus stop on South Main and Cass, police told the Macomb Daily, this time, however, the exchange wasn’t so polite.

Surkovich pulled what the victim said was a black handgun and pointed it at the his face.
The victim surrendered $12 in cash and the two suspects walked away.
A short time later, Clinton Township Police Department officers spotted the pair walking along Cass Avenue near N. Rose Street.
The pair were arrested.
No weapon was found, but the male suspect was carrying a black flashlight, police told the Macomb Daily.
Surkovich and Guilbault were ordered to jail in lieu of $100,000 bond each.
Both are due back in court at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 9.
