Man Caught Dumpster Diving Had Box of Squirrels: Police

Why did Chesterfield Township man have a shoebox full of squirrels?

What was a man police said was reported for digging through a drug store’s trash bin doing with a shoebox of baby squirrels?

The squirrels aren’t what got convicted felon Ian Breiholz, 32, of Kimball, in more trouble, though.

Blame that on the gun, marijuana and drug paraphernalia Chesterfield Township police say were found in search of his pickup truck, WDIV-TV reports.

Besides the drugs, paraphernalia, gun and squirrels, police said the search also turned up candy bars with expired sell dates that had been discarded by CVS.

Breiholz faces charges of receiving and concealing a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed firearm and improperly transporting medical marijuana, according to the report.
