Letter: Patrick Wisniewski's Wife Thanks Community for Support

Jennifer Wisniewski writes a letter, thanking the public.

New Baltimore resident Jennifer Wisniewski wrote a letter to the public regarding the outpouring of support she and her children received after the death of her husband Patrick Wisniewski. Patrick Wisniewski was a military veteran, who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, and was a New Baltimore police reserve officer.

June 2, 2013 our family lost Patrick William Wisniewski Sr., a dedicated man to his family, friends, country and community.  Thank you is not enough. I cannot begin to name all the kind and caring people that have felt our loss.

My heart is filled with love for all the support our family has received from so many caring people. Although we are heartbroken, we are finding tremendous comfort in your love and kindness. We are so grateful for the military and New Baltimore Police Department for holding our hands during the darkest of times.

Thank you as well to all of the law enforcement and military personnel from around the state that came to pay their respects at Patrick's viewing and funeral. To all of the people who stood on the sidelines along Patrick's precession, your signs salutes and waves touched our hearts deeply.  I cannot say enough about the support and honor displayed within our community. The blue ribbons, the signs in Pat's honor displayed outside so many local businesses, the donations and fundraisers in his memory.

The children and I are so grateful and we know Patrick is above proud of his country and community he took such pride in protecting.

Bless you all,
