Plenty of people went to in New Baltimore to go swimming at the beach, fish from the pier and enjoy a picnic lunch on a warm Thursday afternoon.

The National Weather Service issued an , and the NWS said that there would be a high temperature of 85 degrees in New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township.

Sunny skies are in the forecast for Friday with a high near 79 degrees.
