The Northville Newcomers and Neighbors are holding at from 10 a.m. to noon at the Northville Hills Golf Club. The event gives new and longtime residents a chance to meet. Cost to attend is $13 for guests and free for members.Â
4. This day in history
On this day in 1940, according to History.com, Upper Paleolithic period cave paintings were discovered in an area near Montignac, France. Teens discovered the 15,000- to 17,000-year-old paintings after following their dog into a narrow cavern entrance.
