Accused Shoplifters Arrested at Northville Kohl's and Meijer Stores

Accused shoplifters arrested
- A 23-year Northville woman was arrested on Sept. 22 after Kohl's security said she was seen on closed circuit surveillance hiding jewelry in her purse before leaving the store without paying, according to township police reports. She was later released on a $200 bond and is due to appear in the 35th District Court in October.
- An 18-year-old Novi man was arrested on Sept. 23 on shoplifting charges. According to township police reports, Meijer store security told police that the teen was seen putting items into a Meijer bag he brought to the store. He then took the bag of items to the service desk and request store credit on a gift card. The police report indicated he was arrested and released on a $100 bond. He is due to appear in the 35th District Court in October.
Cell phone reported stolen at high school
A Northville High School student reported that her cell phone was stolen from a classroom on Sept. 18, according to township police reports.
Tire reported stolen from Kroger parking lot
The front driver's side tire of a car was reported stolen on Sept. 22 from the lot on Kroger on Haggerty Road, according to township police reports. The driver told police she noticed later that the tire was replaced with an older one and the rim was missing.
