Fall Fun Day Planned For Oct. 6 at Thayer's Corner Nature Area

The Friends of Thayer’s Corner Nature Area will host a “Fall Fun Day: for families at Thayer’s Corner Nature Area (8250 Napier Road, between Six and Seven Mile Roads) on Oct. 6.

Enjoy the fall colors without going up north. The park offers picnic tables and trails, including a young preschooler’s “critter trail,” along with a pond/fountain overview.

Fun day activities will include:

• Make your own scarecrow or garden companion
• Cider & donuts
• Paint your own pumpkin
• Hayrides (weather permitting)

Advance registration guarantees supplies. Walk-ins will be provided supplies as they last.
