The Northville Democratic Club, located in an historically Republican area, has broken it's all-time membership record, with 216 paid members as of July 12, surpassing last year's total of 214.
The club is known as the largest per capita Democratic club in the state.
"Northville has a super-active group of Democrats that are dedicating tremendous hours and dollars for
President Obama and all our democratic candidates. When others see that enthusiasm and success, they
want to get involved," said club vice-president Lisa DiRado.
