Easter Seals Michigan has appointed Mark Abbo, Northville Township Supervisor, to its board of directors.
His responsibilities as a board member will include governing and upholding the nonprofit agency’s mission to serve people with disabilities and other special needs so that they can successfully live, learn, work and play in their communities.
“We are pleased to have Mark join our board,” says Easter Seals Michigan President and CEO Brent Wirth. “His financial and political background will be beneficial to advancing the mission of Easter Seals Michigan”.
In addition to attending requisite meetings, Easter Seals Michigan board members duties include participating in strategic planning and policy decisions, securing financial resources and monitoring program outcomes and operations.
