Residents of South Rogers from Thayer to 7 Mile, 7 Mile from Rogers to Orchard and a few residents on Eaton are currently being effected by the water main construction on South Rogers. Residents in this area currently have no water. It is estimated that water service will be restored late this afternoon. Water will be safe to use when service is restored.
In the days ahead connections will need to be made affecting all of Thayer, and Orchard from Thayer to Main. The Contractor will not be starting any connections until after 9:00 a.m. each morning, so residents are advised to draw a pitcher of water in the morning for drinking purposes during the day, and perhaps fill a bucket of water, which could be used to flush a toilet.
