Christmas Arrives to Northville
The city of Northville rings in the beginning of the holiday season with their annual Christmas Parade.

NORTHVILLE, MI- The City of Northville came out tonight to welcome the Christmas holiday with their annual Holiday Lighted Parade. The cold doesn't keep parade goers at bay, they show up bundled in their coats as local churches handed out cups of hot chocolate to beat the cold. They lined Main St. to watch illuminated floats, built by local businesses and organizations march down the streets singing along to holiday songs as members of the parade tossed out candy, t-shirts, and other prizes to eager kids who watched the parade in awe.

The parade draws many of the citizens of Northville out to watch the parade, all of them spending the evening watching the parade before heading to the center of town for the annual tree lighting, after Santa and Mrs. Claus make their way down the street to usher in the start of the holiday season. Seeming to bypass Thanksgiving as everyone prepares for the beginning of Christmas next month. The parade is an annual delight for the people of Northville, making it a fun night for the entire family.
