City Council Candidate Files Campaign Finance Report

Northville city council candidate Sam Ekong files required pre-election financial statements with the state.

There are three spots up for re-election Tuesday and three candidates. Mayor Chris Johnson and Mayor Pro tem Jim Allen are running unopposed, and candidate Sam Ekong is running unopposed for a vacant city council seat.

Ekong filed his pre-election statements with the Secretary of State office last week, according to Oakland County Clerk records.

The finance statement, which was due Oct. 25, shows Ekong raised a little over $2,000 for his campaign.
