Downtown Northville Summer Concert Series

Summer is almost here and the perfect way to kick off a summer weekend with family and friends returns for the season May 25 to August 31. Sponsored by the Northville Downtown Development Authority and Tom Holzer Ford, the Northville Summer Friday Night Concert Series brings the music of some of the finest local musicians to downtown Northville’s outdoor stage in Town Square every Friday night (7-9 p.m.)

The Northville Summer Friday Night Concert Series schedule features everything from jazz to blues to rock ’n roll. Some of the featured artists for the 2012 season, include Five-time Detroit Music Award Nominee Gia Warner (July 13) and Nashville recording artist Justine Blazer (July 27). Admission for concerts in the series is FREE. Early arrival is suggested and guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to the event.

Presented by the Northville Parks and Recreation Department – the following bands are scheduled to perform during the Summer Friday Night Concert Series (listed by date, group and genre):

July 27: Justine Blazer, Country

August 3: Shawn Riley Band, Celtic / Classic Rock    

August 10: Crutches, Pop/Rock

August 17: Global Village, Motown/Rock/Blues

August 24: Randy Brock, Classic Rock/Blues

August 31: Steve King, Classic Rock
