Kidpreneur Kids Showcase Biz, Tech Projects
The kids share their projects before a group of panelists, including WDIV Local 4 meteorologist Andrew Humphrey.
The first graduating class of Northville-based Kidpreneur celebrated their success at the company's Demo Day Saturday.Â
Kidpreneur brings "tweens" up to speed on entrepreneurship and the industry's latest technology. Kids take classes on web design, Android app development, Lego robotics, business basics and more.

Five students presented their projects, from business start-ups to Android apps, before a group of four panelists. The students, in order of appearance in the video above, were:
- Lavender Calhoun — 11 years old, with her website for "I Heart Candy"
- Grace Umpland — 10 years old, with her business "Gifts of Grace"
- Nilay Mistry and Devin Tran — 11 and 12 years old respectively, with their Android app game "Matchit"
- Tytus Sewell — 12 years old, with his business "Trash In-Trash Out"
- April Boyle — co-founder of D:hive
- Martin Dober — vice president of Invest Detroit
- Andrew Humphrey — WDIV Local 4 meteorologist
- Jay Wolcott — CEO of Digital RootsÂ
