Lingenfelter Cars & Coffee

Car enthusiasts are invited to start each summer weekend enjoying auto “show and tell” at Lingenfelter Cars & Coffee. Each Saturday morning, June 2 – August 25, Lingenfelter’s North Engine Build Facility in Wixom will open its doors and parking to the public. As in years past, the location will be the gathering spot for hundreds of car lovers, travelling from near and far, to show off their auto designs and see the latest and greatest in performance cars from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.

“This is the 5th year for the Cars & Coffee series,” said Ken Lingenfelter, owner Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. “We think it gets better every year. The car-loving community really looks forward to the weekend meet-ups and their discussions on innovations in design and performance in the industry. They also seem to have a lot of fun with the different weekend themes.”

Lingenfelter Cars & Coffee will be held rain or shine. While there is no fee to participate in the event, guests are asked to donate to Gleaners Community Food Bank. Nonperishable food items and monetary donations will be accepted on-site. To date, the generosity of Lingenfelter Cars & Coffee participants has generated enough donations for over 25,400 meals.

For over 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Last year, Gleaners distributed more than 38 million pounds of emergency food to over 534 partner schools, soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties. Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 95 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments while they display their personalized cars and meet other car buffs from the community and around the country. La Perfetto Cappuccino is partnering with Lingenfelter Cars and Coffee for the 3rd consecutive year to bring delicious refreshments to guests. Weekly specials will be announced via the Facebook event pages, and loyalty cards will be handed out at the first cars and coffee!

Each Cars and Coffee event has a “theme” listed below, designating prominent parking for these specific car owners. All makes and models welcome outside the theme!*

Gather at Matick Chevrolet in Redford at 7 am for a cruise to Lingenfelter at 7:30am.
