Meet Your Northville Township Firefighters at 2013 Open House

See what it's like to be a firefighter at the Northville Township Fire Department Open House this weekend.

Northville Township's firefighters will combine fire safety education in a day of fun as a treat for the whole family. 

The 2013 Northville Township Fire Department Open House is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. 

Activities are appropriate for children and adults. They include: 

  • firefighter meet and greet
  • live demonstrations: Jaws of Life — hydraulic rescue tools used in emergencies, fire extinguishers  
  • fire truck tours
  • fire safety tips and activities 
  • games 
Attendees will also have the chance to take photos and try on fire gear.
