Northville Art House Presents 'Inspired' Exhibit
The free public art exhibit is open through Oct. 26.
What inspires an artist?
That is the question eight artists attempt to answer through their pieces currently showcased in the Northville Art House "Under the {Inspired} Influence"Â exhibit. The show was curated by Northville's arts commissioner Took Gallagher.Â
>>See Joan Potter Thomas, director of the Northville Art House, describe two pieces — the first by Leann Meixner and the second by Mike Sivak — in the video above.
The featured work is by metro-Detroit area artists Anita Andersons, Renee M. Dooley, Mary Fortuna, Diane Hawkey, Leann Meixner, Juana Moore, Kate Paul and Mike Sivak.Â
See the artists' renderings of their inspiration at the gallery, 215 West Cady St., 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday through Oct. 26. Artwork is also available for sale.Â
