I have been a professional Singer/Songwriter for 20+ years. I have written, studied and published with famous Grammy-winning songwriters. I started teaching songwriting classes in the libraries with great success. Q: Why did you choose Northville?
Northville is a beautiful city with alot to offer. I enjoy the people here and enjoy performing regularly at The Next Chapter Bookstore and Bistro on Wednesdays from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. That keeps me in a great town, great venue, doing what I love to do.Â
Q: What kinds of services do you offer? A 10-week course on how to constructively write a song from start to finish- 1 hr. once a week. I work with every one of my students on a individual basis. You can either choose to take the course with me in person, through email or Skype. At the end of the course, each student has the option of recording their song in my recording studio, Sunset Studio.
Q: What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?
People know that I am a singer/songwriter but most don't know that I do my own promotions. I am also a professional graphic designer. I design CD covers, posters, business cards and websites. So I am in charge of every aspect of my business from promoting to doing the graphic print work for advertising as well. I also teach beginning guitar lessons too.
Q: What do you want your business to be best known for?
I have spent many years honing my songwriting craft. I've lived in the music city of Nashville and I make frequent visits to Los Angeles for different music seminars and course. I've studied under Grammy award winning songwriters. Some I have co-written songs with. I have been very fortunate to study under these great songwriters so for me to be able to pass everything that I have learned through all these years, on to my students, makes me feel great about giving something back to society in helping to grow songwriters in their craft. I would like to be best known for them feeling good about what they just accomplished.
What's your most popular product or service?
Students really like the fact that they can record in my home studio, a vocal / instrument demo of the song they have just written in my songwriting course. Plus I have many duplication packages available to if they wish to have their song duplicated on a CD and/or put on iTunes. I've done my own self promotion over the years so that has helped me in helping my students take their songwriting to the next level.
