NORTHVILLE, MI-- Metro Detroit is experiencing some of the first snowfall of the winter. Depending on where you are you could be seeing about three inches of snow or more according to The National Weather Service.

Monday Night: Snow, mainly before 4am. Low around 20. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 12 to 17 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of around 2 inches.

Tuesday: A chance of snow or flurries before 7am, then a chance of flurries after 7am. Partly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 16 by 5pm. Wind chill values as low as zero. Blustery, with a northwest wind 21 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
