Police Arrest Novi Woman on Charges of Stealing from Meijer

Northville Township police provided this information.

Northville Township police arrested a 22-year-old Novi woman Oct. 23 on charges of stealing from Meijer, according to a police report.

An employee at Meijer, 20401 Haggerty Road, saw the woman taking the security tape off of several DVDs and opening the packaging of and concealing other items in her shopping cart, the report said.

The officer arrested her on charges of second degree retail fraud, according to the report. She paid a $500 bond and has a hearing Nov. 6.
