A summary of the crime around the area from Dec. 6 to Dec. 13.

Apartment burglarized
- A man on the 18000 block of Innsbrook Drive reported to township police that his apartment was broken into sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Dec. 7. The sliding glass door had been pried open and the window next to it was broken. The robber stole the man's plasma television, Xbox, DVD player and several pieces of jewelry.
Attempted home break-in while owner was at a Christmas party
- A man reported on Dec. 9 that someone attempted to break into his home the night before while he was attending a Christmas party for his subdivsion. He reported to township police that there were marks left around the door frame of his condominium, in the Blue Heron Pointe complex.
SUV robbed of its battery
- The battery of an SUV parked on the 20000 block of Bryn Mawr Court was stolen overnight on Dec. 10. The lock on the door of the SUV had been broken and the battery hold down had been unbolted, according to township police reports.
Attempted car battery theft
- A car parked on the 19000 block of Old Bridge Court was broken into overnight on Dec. 10. A GPS and iPod had been stolen. The hood was ajar and the battery had been tampered with. The driver's side door had also been opened, according to township police reports.
