Stone House Coffee & Tea Closes Its Doors in Northville

A visit to Stone House Coffee & Tea this week showed that the Northville Township coffee spot had locked its doors and vacated its space. 

The Facebook page is still up, however a patron posted to it Monday saying that the coffee shop, at 16923 Ridge Road, "no longer exists." The business' phone number is also out of service. 

The coffee shop, which opened about five years ago according to its Facebook page, had some great reviews on Patch and Yelp. However, it was tucked away into a less populated, out-of-the-way area at Ridgewood Plaza on Ridge Road south of Six Mile Road.

"I love coming here to a nice cup o joe and relaxing. The shop itself is clean and showcases original art done by local artists. The owner is incredibly nice to his customers and prides himself on good service," one patron wrote in a review on Yelp.
