Someone broke into and stole property from a storage shed in a Novi neighborhood between midnight and 7 a.m. Dec. 9, according to a Novi police report.
The person broke into a shed, which contained maintenance equipment, on the 22000 block of Solomon Blvd. at the Heights of Novi, and took two snowblowers, the report said.
A manager said that when maintenance workers arrived in the morning to remove snow and salt the walkways, they discovered the lock was gone and the two snowblowers were missing, according to the report. Wheel tracks in the snow from the snowblowers led from the shed across the lot to where police think they were loaded into a truck, the report said.
