$2K in Equipment Stolen from Roof of Novi Home

Novi police provided this information.

Someone stole all of the construction materials from the roof of a Novi home, according to a Novi police report.

The construction business owner told police that last month, between Sept. 14 and 16, someone stole all of the roofing materials from a two-story home on Langley Drive, near Wixom and Ten Mile roads, the report said. The owner was on vacation and was only now able to report the theft for an insurance claim, according to the report.

The total value of the items stolen is $2,200, which includes a ridge vent, eight rolls of ice shield, three boxes of coil nails and four rolls of 90 pound felt, the report said. All of the materials were on the roof of the home and the suspect must have used a ladder to access the materials, according to the report.

There are no suspects, the report said.
