Farbman Group to Host Family-friendly Food Drive, Book Giveaway
Farbman Group supports Gleaners Community Food Bank through food drive, book giveaway, refreshments and fun activities for kids

Southfield, Michigan-based Farbman Group, a leading full-service real estate company, announced today a food drive event in partnership with Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, a nonprofit organization providing households with access to sufficient, nutritious food and related resources. The event is to be held on Saturday, Feb. 1 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Bingham Conference Center. Farbman Group CEO Andrew V. Farbman made the announcement.
“As a company who is connected to the community and understands the battles many families face during the winter season, we see this event as an opportunity to raise awareness and feed our neighbors in need,” said Farbman. “We hope to decrease those who go hungry and support those in need through the generous donations of members within our community."
The first 50 people who donate five canned goods will be eligible to receive a free copy of the “Be Kind” children’s book by Farbman Group President and children’s author, Andy Gutman. During the event, “Be Kind” character Charlie the Butterfly will be in attendance to sing and dance for entertainment. Food and drinks will be provided to all, as well as coloring activities.
