Gas Stolen from Novi Man's Car

Someone stole gasoline from a vehicle parked outside of a home in Novi between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. Jan. 20, according to a Novi police report.

The vehicle owner said he filled the gas tank of his 2012 Chevrolet Cruze on his way home in the evening, the report said. He parked his vehicle outside, on Fireside Court — north of Nine Mile Road and west of Haggerty Road — in Novi, and found that the gas tank's door was open and the gas gauge read empty when he came outside in the morning, according to the report. 

There was no evidence at the scene, the report said.
