MSU Tollgate Farm Looks Forward to 'Evenings in the Garden'

Classes begin on January 26 in Novi and are for novice and seasoned gardeners, homeowners, landscapers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

From MSU Tollgate Farm and Education Center: MSU Tollgate Farm and Education Center is the beautiful setting for a new season of Evenings in the Garden classes. This winter, on three Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 pm, three renowned speakers will be sharing their wisdom and experience. Tollgate, at 12 Mile and Meadowbrook Road in Novi, is looking forward to Janet Macunovich on January 26, Dr. Tony Reznicek on March 2, and Dr. Norm Lownds on March 30.

MSU Extension Tollgate Farm & Education Center is an idyllic setting that some may not even know exists! Tollgate is a 160-acre working farm less than two miles from Twelve Oaks Mall, featuring over 20 demonstration gardens, farm animals, historic buildings dating from the mid-1800s, and meeting facilities. It is open to the public Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, and is the home of Fall Fest, Pumpkinfest, Maple Tapping and Pancake Feast, and many other fun and educational public events throughout the year.
