Malcolm Wang, student photographer, is the artist for the April exhibit which will be up through April 28. This Novi resident has Autism and applied for the show in hopes that he could help bring awareness and acceptance for people with autism during National Autism Awareness Month.
“I want people to see how much I love photography and how beautiful the world is. People with Autism need help learning sometimes. People with Autism can contribute beautiful things to the world. I hope that my art can help people think about how people with Autism can be included in everyday activities,” Wang wrote in his artist statement. His artwork is available for sale at the Novi Parks office during regular business hours.
