Novi High Junior Running Back Commits to Western Michigan

Novi High School junior running back Emanuel Jackson committed Thursday to play football at Western Michigan University, according to a report on Hustle Beat, a website that covers Mid-American Conference sports.

According to the Bronco Blitz Twitter feed (@WMURivals), Jackson will move from offense to defense when he joins the Broncos, playing the cornerback position.

Jackson, who’s 6 feet, 175 pounds, rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season at Novi, Hustle Beat reports. He also was being recruited by Toledo and Bowling Green, the report stated.

“I feel good as hell,” Jackson wrote on his Twitter account.

Jackson will graduate in 2016.
