Novi Ranks Among Nation's Wealthiest ZIP Codes

A new list from the Washington Post ranks Novi's 48374 ZIP code as a "Super ZIP" and wealthier than its sisters, 48375 and 48377. 

"The ranks, ranging from 0 to 99, represent the average of each ZIP’s percentile rankings for median household income and for the share of adults with college degrees," reports the Post, which analyzed 2010 census data.

In the 48374 ZIP code, 65 percent of adults are college grads and the median household income is $138,884 for a ranking of 98. Super ZIPs rank 95 or higher, according to the Post.

The 48375 ZIP code earned a rank of 89 — 55 percent of adults are college grads and the median household income is $82,975. The 48377 ZIP code earned a rank of 71 — 48 percent of adults are college grads and the median household income is $54,818.
