Novi Real Estate Agent, Woody Willis Always Goes The Extra Mile

It is not often I will take the time to write a review of a business at Patch, and I rarely go to other sites to write reviews, unless I get such a poor experience that I feel it necessary to protect other consumers from the same experience that I had.

Having said that, I do like to take the time to compliment folks when I get great service, but generally just
do it on the phone, in person, or tell their manager if it is a restaurant or store. In this case however, more is needed.

My wife and I recently purchased what we expect will be our last home. The first thing I learned is that the real estate market is vastly different than it was 30 years ago when I purchased my last home. Obviously, this is a sellers market, and it seems that there are simply not as many homes, as there are buyers.

The biggest change though, is that we are now in the electronic age, and unlike 30 years ago, you now have
the ability to get a really good look at many homes on your computer, without having to take the drive with your real estate agent, and touring several homes for a few hours.

What we learned is that in this crazy seller's market, many folks actually make offers based on pictures
they see at the various real estate websites. To do that, you need a savvy real estate agent, who is willing to walk you through that process, and do it at a moment's notice.

This brings me to a guy who my wife and I got real lucky to meet. His name is Woody Willis, and he does his
magic through 3DX Real Estate in Novi. This man was highly recommended by our lender, and did not disappoint. We had used another agent, and were stuck in the mud. It seemed like every time we liked a place, and wanted to make an offer, one had already been made, and we were frozen out. We liked they guy, but he was doing business like they did it 30 years ago, and that simply was not working.

We met Woody, and we had an instant connection with him. He is just a real down to Earth friendly guy.
One of those people you can meet, and in ten minutes you feel like you've known him for years. That was all fine and good, but could he get the job done? We were on a timeline. We lived in a nice apartment complex in Plymouth, and were weeks from having to commit to another lease. Truth be told, we had given up hope for this year. Woody told us to have some faith in him, and he would find us the right place. We had nothing to lose, and I really liked the guy, so we placed our faith in him.

That was the best decision we have made in this whole process. Pretty soon this man was sending us listings
to look at, and he was giving us all the tools and knowledge to help him help us. He turned this into a collaborative process, and unlike other agents, communicated with us constantly both by phone, text,
and email.

Pretty soon we saw a home we liked, and it had just listed. It was a Friday night, and he probably had ten
better things to do, but he answered our call. We discussed strategy as far as what to offer, and at 10 PM he was emailing us the necessary documents to sign, and forward back to him. By 11:00 PM, we had our offer in, and it was accepted. I can't tell you how important it was for us to have that offer in so early, because by
the time Monday came around, the listing had been viewed over 1,200 times.

All I can say, is that Woody Willis is responsible for my wife and I getting ready to move into our last home. A home we just love. I will simply close by saying that in our experience, in this seller's market, you need an aggressive real estate agent, that will work for you at any time, day or night. You need a real estate agent that you can trust to look out for your best interests. You need an agent who has the knowledge to help you make
the right offer, both to get it accepted, but also to appraise at the right value. You need a real estate agent that will follow through on every detail once the offer is accepted as well.
